Meghan’s cannabis farmer cousin to get own reality TV programme

- BY PATRICK HILL

THE cannabis-growing nephew of royal bride Meghan Markle is set to star in his own TV reality show.

Tyler Dooley – who has a licence to legally grow ganja – will be followed by cameras in a series documenting his life.

His girlfriend Sandra Bazan, mum Tracy, 53, and brother Thomas, known as TJ, 26, are also due to feature prominently during the programme.

It is expected to be screened on both sides of the Atlantic, and MTV bosses are hoping for plenty of Meghan-related drama from the real-life soap opera.

Tyler, 25, has already been involved in one scrape after nearly being arrested when he travelled to London ahead of 36-year-old Meghan’s marriage to Prince Harry, 33, in May.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: “Producers are fascinated by Tyler and his family, and how different their lives are from Meghan’s.

“They think viewers will love him and the rest of the Dooleys, and become gripped by their soap opera lives.

“Tyler is really looking forward to it and sees it as great advertising for his marijuana business.”

Tyler is the youngest son of Thomas Markle Jnr, 51, the Duchess of Sussex’s half-brother, and lives in the US state of Oregon, where marijuana is legal. He is estranged from his dad and Meghan, who used to babysit him and his older brother as children. But he is still in regular phone contact with Meghan’s dad Thomas, 75.

Tyler was not invited to the royal wedding. But he travelled to London with his mum and brother anyway to celebrate the nuptials. However, the trip ended in disaster after the ceremony when, it is claimed, Tyler tried to get into a London nightclub while carrying a four-inch blade. Bouncers called 999 and Tyler fled after other clubbers told him he would be arrested.

He reportedly told another partygoer: “I just brought it because Donald Trump said London was like a war zone... for protection.”

Tyler boasts of being “a pioneer” and named his cannabis firm Royally Grown.

He runs it with his mum and this year unveiled an “extremely potent” strain of marijuana called Markle’s Sparkle – retailing for £206 an ounce. It is understood they could earn millions from marketing the new strain alongside other products, including cannabis oils and food containing the drug.

They are also planning a Royal Relief oil made from cannabidiol liquid, which does not contain THC, the substance in cannabis which gets users high.

And they have ambitious plans to expand into dozens of products, including an organic hemp clothing line, make-up, jewellery, and skincare and bath products.

MTV and Tyler were unavailable for comment yesterday.
