Mo’s no-go at Anfield

Not so kneesy at Saints

- By TONY STENSON at Wembley

IT’S an ‘anytime scorer’ coin-flip at Anfield this afternoon – and the head’s saying no to Mo.

Liverpool didn’t manage a shot on target in their 1-0 defeat at Napoli in midweek.

Ten games into last season, Mo Salah (above) had already scored seven goals. This time it’s three.

That’s still one more than Alvaro Morata, the £60million bollard, but you get the point. Something’s changed.

Salah’s an astonishing talent. But if he’s gone temporarily flat, then ‘anytime’ prices of 5/4 and worse are not good enough today (4.30pm).

Different tales for Sergio Aguero. His last season of phenomenal scoring has simply carried on. Eight goals in 10 games so far this term, scoring in five.

City are creating chances by the fistful. At 6/4 (Unibet, 888sport) Aguero is the right ‘anytime’ call to coin it in.

Longshot ‘anytime’ hunters can take a spin at 18/1 (Unibet, 888sport) about have-a-pop City rock Aymeric Laporte.

Lyon go to PSG (8pm) - bet 16/5 (Betway) ‘anytime’ for Pep party-pooper Nabil Fekir

EDEN HAZARD says he’s getting skidmarks on his knees.

The Belgian magician (left) has had to ditch his trademark sliding goal celebration on medical grounds.

The Stamford Bridge doctors have prescribed a mild hornpipe.

We could see Hazard’s jolly sailor at goal-shy Southampton (2.15pm), though Europa duties might well have left the Blues a bit flat-footed.

Bet 21/20 (Lads) UNDER 2.5 goals. TOTTENHAM banished the blues of being battered by Lionel Messi and Barcelona in midweek to move into third place in the Premier League.

Spurs deserved to win a scrappy game, but there are still more questions than answers.

Yes, they were without Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, but clubs who are aiming for true stardom should have more stellar names in reserve.

Cardiff arrived without a league win and, to add to their woes, had Joe Ralls sent off in the 58th minute.

It was for a foul on Lucas Moura, which led to striker Harry Kane being booked for verbals and a clash with Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said: “I saw Neil angry, particularly about the decision and Kane. But he has passion and he wants the best for his club.

“This wasn’t our best performance. But, overall, we deserved victory and three points and we are now in a good position in the table.

“This was always going to be difficult after Barcelona – we can play better. The atmosphere was a bit empty, the weather did not help, but I am always happy with our fans.

“After we scored, we had a lack of control. It turned into a drama and, when Cardiff had one man less, it became more of a drama.

“But when you are at home, you must control the game.

Warnock (right) admitted: “Everyone gets angry, whether five-or-side or whatever. I was proud today. We could have gone under when we went down to an early goal.

“I thought the sending-off decision was hard. In the end, it was a group decision and I’m
