She wants castle Gates and a Disney princess gown

-

The Coronation Street star is getting hitched to Gareth Gates after he got down on one knee in the Big Apple.

Talk TV can reveal they have their sights set on Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, a favourite among celebrities.

Jamie Vardy wed wife Rebecca there in 2016. US singer Ciara also wed NFL star Russell Wilson beneath its turrets.

Packages for Saturday spots in summer begin at around £25,000 – but rise steeply with extras like a free bar and rooms for guests.

Pop Idol star Gareth, 34, has already splashed out tens of thousands on a four-carat diamond ring for Faye, 31, after he popped the question last month, so the cost is unlikely to faze him. The couple – who met in 2012 when Faye was leading lady Elle Woods in Legally Blonde the Musical with Gareth as her boyfriend, Warner – are yet to set a date. But Faye – who plays Kate Connor in the ITV soap – is feverishly planning the bash.

She’s already visited one bridal fair in Cheshire and wants a giant Disney Princess-type gown with veil and huge train. A source said: “Faye has her heart set on Peckforton Castle. She’s visited and fell in love with it. But the couple plan to see more venues before they make a decision.”

Gareth and Faye have chosen someone surprising to officiate for their nuptials. Rather than a man or woman of the cloth, they want Holly Willoughby’s sister Kelly to do the honours.

She was Gareth’s PA for six years.

Facing

Foxy and crew on SAS: Who Dares Wins is scary stuff. So much so that recruits have been having nightmares.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s final, Vicki Anstey, 41, admitted: “I had them for about a month, thinking I was still there. One night I stayed up on night watch in my bedroom. I couldn’t snap out of it.”

Fellow finalist Hannah Jackson, 26, added: “I had two weeks of nightmares. I woke up in sweats.”

Women are now allowed to join the real special forces – and the hit Channel 4 show. Vicki and Hannah compete alongside Louise Gabbitas, 29, and Lou McCullough, 40, against the final four men.
