I am really quite drunk, Craig tells wrap party
The actor, 51, who is making his last outing as the iconic British spy, celebrated the end of filming with cast and crew at a restaurant in Matera, southern Italy.
After dining with members of the James Bond team – including director Barbara Broccoli – Daniel told them: “I just want to say, and I am really quite drunk now so I won’t go on for long, this has been the best, most wonderful experience I have ever had.
“You have all done the most amazing job. I could not be more proud to work with every single one of you.
“I would like to thank you for this evening, for Barbara, for putting it on. Thank goodness, we did this tonight.”
I wonder if he felt the same the next day after all that boozing. Film bosses splashed out on the exclusive wrap party, which included a special Bondthemed cake complete with sparklers made for the occasion.
The movie, No Time To Die, is set to be released in UK cinemas next April.
I had also been holidaying in Matera when I bumped into the Bond crew, who filmed for three weeks in the town.
I witnessed dozens of high- powered Aston Martins being raced through the sleepy streets, as well as movie bosses buying in crates of the traditional Italian gelato.
Perfect hangover food for Daniel. I’m predicting big things ahead for 22-year-old Irish singer-songwriter
as he releases ne new single, Pick Up Your Ph Phone. The ris rising star ha has an inc incredible co contacts list wit with the likes of p pals
