A CROWDFUNDING page set up to pay for the murder of Remain campaigner Gina Miller is being investigated by police.

The sick fund, started by an anonymous account called Jeff Blogger, aimed to raise £10,000 for a hitman to kill the businesswoman who has won two legal cases against the Government.

Published on gofundme.com it had been online since April.

Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Mirror, Mrs Miller said last night: “This is horrifying. It beggars belief that this can have been allowed to have been put up on this site and stayed there for so long.”

The page gave chilling detail of how the money would be used. It read: “We want to raise £10,000 to hire a contract killer to kill Gina Miller. The Traitor of Democracy.”

Responding to the threat, brave Mrs Miller urged politicians to think carefully about how their language incites hate.

She said: “There is of course no excuse for any individual to resort to inciting murder, but it shows how bad things have got. Certain extremist politicians and commentators must

BORIS Johnson will water down workers’ rights after Brexit, according to a leaked Whitehall document.

The plan, prepared by the Department for Exiting the EU, says Britain will diverge from EU regulations on workplace protection.

Shadow Brexit minister Jenny Chapman said: “Boris Johnson’s Brexit is a blueprint for a deregulated economy. It will see vital rights and protections torn up.” The fear is that the take their share of responsibility and recognise that incendiary language – and continually ratcheting up the stakes – has consequences.”

The gofundme page is the latest in a string of threats against Mrs Miller. Racist viscount Rhodri Philipps offered £5,000 on Facebook to “the first person to ‘accidentally’ run over this bloody troublesome first-generation immigrant”. He was jailed for 12 weeks in 2017.

His vile outburst had been posted soon after Mrs Miller won a high court case challenging the Government’s power to implement Brexit without approval from Parliament.

At the time she said dealing with death threats was “the way I live my life”. She went on to fight Boris Johnson’s prorogation of Parliament, ruled illegal by the Supreme Court last month. Police yesterday confirmed: “Officers from the Met’s South West CID team are currently investigating a report of threats to kill.”

A gofundme spokesman said the page had been removed, adding: “We are particularly sorry for any distress this caused Gina Miller.”

PM wants to turn Britain into a Singaporestyle tax-free zone. The document seen by the Financial Times reveals that on workers’ rights the EU and UK “interpretation of these commitments will be very different”.

Negotiations will come after Brexit when a deal on the future political relationship with the EU is thrashed out.

Mr Johnson has always said he believes in “the highest possible standards” for workers and environmental standards.

BORIS Johnson is browbeating MPs to vote for an election tomorrow by threatening to wreck their family Christmases if they refuse.

The lame duck Premier is so desperate to go the polls he’s prepared to hold the election in Christmas week if MPs will not agree to it earlier.

That could see voters trooping to the polls on Boxing Day and would mean MPs campaigning over the festive season.

A No10 source said: “Christmas week has not been ruled out. We know that’s not ideal. But that is where we might be if this is not settled by the end of November.”

Mr Johnson now plans to table Commons votes day after day on getting the election if Jeremy Corbyn denies him one tomorrow.

majority of MPs – 434 out of 650 – for the Commons to agree his preferred date of December 12.

But the Labour leader is expected to deny him that by ordering his MPs to abstain.

And yesterday former PM Tony Blair backed Mr Corbyn’s stand that no-deal must be off the table before Britain goes to the polls.

He said: “Labour must not agree to this election ploy until the situation is dealt with.”

The EU made it even more difficult to persuade MPs to vote for an election because Friday’s meeting of EU ambassadors in Brussels delayed the decision on Britain’s Brexit extension.

And the EU’s failure to guarantee Brexit will be postponed until January 31 raises once again the spectre of the UK crashing out without a deal as soon as Thursday.

No-deal preparations – codenamed Yellowhammer – are being stepped up.

Meanwhile, latest polling from Opinium shows Boris Johnson romping home with a 200 overall majority.

It puts the Tories on 40 per cent, with Labour on 24 and the Lib Dems on 15 per cent.
