Borussia Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg can return to the top two places if they win their games today.

Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund went third after a goalless draw with Schalke.

Schalke twice hit the frame of the goal through Salif Sane and Suat Serdar in what was a dominant first half.
