Barbosa, who has won five caps for Brazil, joined Inter in 2016 after leaving boyhood club Santos.

However he has made just nine appearance­s for the Serie A club itself, with loan spells to Benfica, back to Santos and then Flamengo.

He is back at Inter after his latest loan ended in December but he is not in Antonio Conte’s plans.
