Stick it in Row Z! SLICE OF THE SWEET LIFE WITH POG

-

WE’RE all thinking it. Can she do it on a wet Wednesday night at Stoke?

Chilean freestyle superstar Cata Vega Pina has left the likes of Lionel Messi slacked-jaw at her incredible skills.

No one puts that ball on her foot you know, she juggles it up from the floor. Makes it look so easy you’ll believe you could do it yourself with a bit of practice.

And that’s why Cata’s the patron saint of deluded centre-backs.

She’s clearly keeping the skills razor-sharp in lockdown, but she’ll need to ditch all those fancy balls.

Try it with an orange plastic Mitre that went a bit egg-shaped after spending the summer of ‘76 on next door’s garage roof.

THAT is next-level keepy-uppy.

JOYOUS news for probably Real Madrid fans – Paul Pogba is back and pudding it in the net.

The Manchester United star is in lockdown in France.

An excited Pog (left) said: “In this quarantine I have discovered a new talent which is cooking. My mother is staying with us and

I want to suprise her with a nice, heavy dessert.

“It’s a French dessert, my favourite dessert, and I have loved it since I was young.

“It’s called Frangipan Galette des Rois.”

Galette des Rois is a culinary cultural institution in France – a sweet puff-pastry pie traditionally served on January 6 each year.

Many of us will have been getting a renewed appreciation of food since the plug was pulled on 24/7 availability and Greggs shut.

Even the hoarders will be sick of pasta and bog-roll bake by now.

So Pog’s pudding (right) is looking pretty mouthwatering.

Oddly, the reviews have not been universally positive.

It was described by one diner, a Mr G Souness, as “far too flaky, no bite or consistency... a half-baked **** ing disgrace of a flan for me”.

THE IPL may have been cancelled, but this will quench your thirst for thrilling T20 action.

The series follows the fortunes of the IPL’s most successful and wealthiest franchise during their 2018 season as defending champions.

Starting from the auction, you get to ride the emotions of the Mumbai Indian players and fans during adifficult season. Watch the players good food from barer cupboards than Pog’s need not despair.

I understand that Jamie Vardy is planning to draw on his experience of leaner years in non-League with a lockdown cookery podcast.

Episode one, ‘Six ways with carpet-tile soup’.

Bon appetit!
