Oh hum all ye faithful..
CHURCHGOERS may end up humming hymns after being banned from singing.
As places of worship reopen, congregations have been told to sit in alternate pews and not pass round a collection plate or sing hymns to avoid spreading Covid-19.
The Rev Lucy Winkett, rector of St James’s in London’s Piccadilly, said: “We can’t sing hymns but there will be some instrumental music and there is a possibility we might hum things together.”
