MASON GREENWOOD underlined his growing reputation in Manchester United’s five-star showing against relegation-threatened Bournemout­h.

The teenage striker scored twice for Champions League-chasing United to continue his emergence under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Ferdinand hailed the 18-year-old, and said: “The world is his oyster. The way Mason has come into the first team and just hit the ground running, nothing fazes him.

“There’s no fuss around this kid at all. He’s here to do one thing – to play football and be as good as he can be.”

Solskjaer added: “The energy, the pace, the skills – I’m very happy with the team.”
