ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI fired Bayern Munich to a league and cup double.

Bayern followed their Bundesliga title triumph by lifting the German Cup with this victory over Bayer Leverkusen.

David Alaba’s 16thminute free-kick and Serge Gnabry’s strike nine minutes later put treblechasing Bayern in control. Lewandowski (above) made it three after his 30-yard volley was fumbled over the line by Leverkusen keeper Lukas Hradecky.

Sven Bender headed home moments later but Lewandowski struck again in the 89th minute.

Kai Havertz’s 94thminute penalty was no more than consolation for Leverkusen as Bayern celebrated their 13th domestic double.
