ROYAL MASKERS OF DISGUISE
THEY might save lives but face masks also come in handy if you’re a royal trying to lie low.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were barely recognisable on a trip out in Beverly Hills, with Meghan also hiding under a giant straw hat and oversized sunglasses.
Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, had been hoping to keep a low profile and focus on their charitable foundation after moving to LA with one-year-old son Archie. Wearing masks in public is now the law of the land there.
But Meghan’s case against a newspaper and an ugly fallout with her best friend mean there’s no escaping the spotlight – no matter how much they cover their faces.
WHEN it comes to Friends, Jennifer Aniston will be there for you. Just ask Katy Perry.
Jen has been such a good pal to pregnant Katy that she is now number one choice to be a godmother.
The Roar singer, 35, is expected to give birth to a girl in weeks and says she is “waddling like a duck”.
During lockdown Friends star Jen has been a huge support to
Katy and actor fiance
Orlando Bloom, 43.
A source said Jen, 51, topped the couple’s list of possible godparents and wept when they asked her. The pal said: “Katy and Jen are very close. During lockdown they went for socially distanced walks, and spent lots of time catching up.
“She is pretty chuffed about it as well and cried when they asked her.”
Katy and Jen, godmother to Friends co-star Courteney Cox’s daughter Coco, have been pals nearly a decade.
While promoting her new album Smile, Katy said: “I am waddling like a duck! I’m breathing heavily, I’m a full-on mouth-breather. It’s loud and obnoxious. I eat so much flavoured ice, it’s like put it in my mouth right now.” halina.watts@
