Travel Oscars boost for NHS
It’s been holiday chaos this year with a national lockdown, cruises and flights cancelled, and hokey-cokey, in-out country quarantines.
But the British Travel Awards – the country’s getaway ‘Oscars’ – are again giving the public a chance to support their favourite holiday firms and hope for a better 2021.
And this year there’s a chance to thank NHS staff through The Great Big Online Travel Auction. It gives voters the opportunity to bid for fabulous holidays in an online auction in aid of NHS Charities Together.
That’s open until November 22 – the same day consumer voting for this year’s BTAs closes. For that, there are 51 categories, rather than the usual 84, covering the likes of tour operators, destination specialists and coach, rail, camping and luxury businesses.
You can also back businesses which gave exemplary customer service in this difficult year.
As a thank you for taking the time to join in the biggest consumer-voted programme in the UK, everyone who submits a vote is entered into a draw to win a 2021 luxury Nicko river cruise for two on the Rhine or Danube.
