I’m virtually ready for run around the world

-

I hope you had a great Christmas Day. I am sure it was not the pure traditional one you may have been used to due to Covid but I bet, like me, the majority of you still managed to overindulge with too much food and underindulge in the exercise department.

Well I have a solution to resolve some of those excesses that will not only burn off a few calories but also could be the start of a new healthy habit to take into the new year.

If you remember last week I mentioned

Phileas Fogg and his exploits, getting around the world in 80 days. And I’ve run in a fair few countries in my time. But on New Year’s Eve I am going to attempt to virtually run around the world with running friends, walking friends and hopefully you! It’s appropriately called runaroundtheworldwithkev But I need as many people to sign up as possible. It costs £5 but it all goes to Prostate Cancer UK. Together, as individuals or families, we can all help by walking or running a few miles towards the total.

The clever part is that we can do this as long as it’s New Year’s Eve somewhere – so from 10am on December 30 to midday on January 1. So you can bash out miles for three days on the spin!

Here’s the link to join me virtually on the challenge ultra-x.co/runaroundtheworldwithkev/

It will be an amazing way to say good riddance to 2020 and prove you still have some get up and go. Plus you can say hello to 2021 with a new resolution to stay fit – it may even be the start of a daily exercise streak like mine was a year ago!

I hope loads of you will join me while supporting a great cause and looking after yourself.

Until next year!

Kev
