Island oh no to ‘sex guru’

-

A RETREAT promising “heightened states of sexual ecstatic full-bodied orgasmic bliss” on Bali has been foiled by police.

An Australian “sex guru,” 51, behind it was arrested over possible breaches of immigration rules.

Islanders outraged about the event, costing participants about £350 each, reported it to police.

Foreigners need a visa to work in Bali. Police did not charge the unnamed man who has been released after he told them the retreat was just for yoga.

It’s spoons at dawn for The One Show presenters

Scott and Jermaine Jenas. The pair will compete as they aim to hike more than 100km in three days while balancing a nose on a spoon in aid of Comic Relief.

Jermaine says: “Resting, recuperating and eating some good food should all in all put me in a good place to win this challenge!” Fighting talk.

Lennon and McCartney were keen not to be dismissed as one-hit wonders – and as they sat on a tour bus travelling between York and Shrewsbury, inspiration struck.

Leafing through the NME they came across the letters column entitled,

‘From You To Us’.

The main story in that week’s issue was about whether Cliff Richard was doing better than Elvis

Presley in the charts.

After Macca and

Lennon came up with the catchy song together,

George Martin asked Macca to throw in a few falsettos to get the girls screaming. The song went on to become the band’s first UK No1.

GOING to bed in the buff will help you sleep more deeply, research claims.

As stressed millions suffer pandemic insomnia, a study shows ditching the jim-jams boosts REM kip.

Sleeping naked led to an average 27% deep sleep for men and 26% for women. For healthy adults, 20-25% is regarded as good.

In the month-long study of 2,680 volunteers using a sleep monitor, website thedozyowl.co.uk also found the classic T-shirt and pyjama bottoms combo recorded the least REM (17.5%).

But if you must wear something in bed, socks were found to boost the “naked” deep sleep results by one per cent.
