am very surprised how the Western people have behaved. How can they write such horror about my family?”

Elena was last night living in fear of trolls, who have attacked her and her husband on her Facebook account, which has since been taken down.

One comment on a family photo, said: “I hope they take your kids away. You don’t deserve to be

parents. SCUM!”. Another said: “Evil parents”. A third message added: “The whole world hates you both! You belong together in hot hell.”

A friend of her mother said: “Elena is really scared. She can’t believe what is happening. Her mum has never called Wayne her son-in-law, always son, and their relationship is more like mum and son.”

A TOTAL of 26 police officers and staff at Britain’s biggest force were arrested on suspicion of sex crimes – in two years.

The Met revealed the toll under Freedom of Information, but did not say how many led to charges or convictions.

Over the same period – between January 2018 and last August – 58 employees at the Met faced disciplinary procedures over sexual misconduct claims. Of those, 28 were dismissed without notice and eight quit before being given the boot.

The Met declined to comment. Separate data compiled by the IOPC police watchdog revealed England and Wales’ forces received 766 sexual misconduct allegations against serving staff in four years.

Eastern European countries have also seen cases spike.

A GOVERNMENT alert is going out to more than two million 16- to 64-yearolds who should have had the vaccine by now.

Urgent texts are being sent after NHS officials found half those with underlying health conditions such as diabetes and heart disease had not yet had the jab. The move comes amid fears many may not realise they are eligible now.
