Westlife to offer a Wagatha peace deal Rebekah & Coleen invited to band’s gig

-

Westlife are aiming to win a Nobel Peace Prize for ending the Wagatha Christie court battle between

and

Coleen Rooney Rebekah Vardy.

The warring WAGs are both huge fans of the Irish boyband, featuring Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne.

The My Love singers performed at Coleen’s 2008 wedding to footballer Wayne, while Shane also sang at Rebekah’s 2016 marriage to Jamie.

The boys are now hoping to use their persuasive pop star powers to get Coleen and Rebekah to sing Swear It Again at their Wembley Stadium gig in August, instead of swearing an oath in court.

Mark tells me: “We will be inviting Wagatha Christie. They are both more than welcome to come.

“We will be like the UN. We would love to be involved in them making peace with each other.

Westlife’s music has played a big part in many people’s marriages, break-ups, christenings and funerals, so who knows?

“Hopefully, their mutual love for Westlife can bring them together.”

Nicky adds: “I actually bumped into Wayne and Coleen the other day at a restaurant.

“I got very drunk at their wedding. They are both really lovely so we will definitely invite them down and hopefully they will come.”

Meanwhile, Shane says: “I sang at Jamie and Rebekah’s wedding. He’s actually a massive fan too and often trains to Westlife songs.

“From our point of view, everyone is invited and the more the merrier.”

Westlife are making a chart comeback with new album Wild Dreams. Nicky is hoping for the best, but he says: “No one can compete with Adele, not even Ed Sheeran.

“If we chart at No2, we will be thrilled.”
