Ultra luxury line Scenic has brought forward the inaugural 14-day voyage for new ship Eclipse.
The six-star ‘discovery yacht’ will now debut in Lisbon on April 14 two weeks earlier than planned, sailing to Morocco, Madeira and the Iberian Peninsula. All-inclusive, 228-passenger Eclipse’s features include an on-board six-person submarine and two sightseeing helicopters, with prices from £4,490 per person with fights, transfers, excursions and fine dining. TUI has christened the second ship in its river fleet. Skyla was officially named at Mainz in Germany then sailed her inaugural festive-themed Mistletoe and Rhine itinerary to Cologne, Dusseldorf and Koblenz. The godmother was Catherine Hawkins, an exam officer from Barnsley, who was chosen from public applications.
TUI’s ocean brand Marella has been forced to switch Explorer 2 from a
Med voyage next week to cover the Canaries for Explorer, which is dry docked for maintenance in Cadiz.
