BRUNO LAGE does not get too down over Wolves missing chances because the work ethic of his team puts a smile on his face.

The Molineux boss has challenged his stuttering attackers to improve their finishing in one-on-one situations after finding the net just 13 times.

On the flip side, only the top three have a better defensive record having conceded 14 times.

They lost 1-0 to both Manchester City and Liverpool but got back on track with a win by the same scoreline against Brighton in midweek.

Now they host Chelsea today and Lage (right) said: “The way we compete against teams, the way we create chances and score goals from set-pieces, the way we organise from set-pieces, there is a lot of things I’ve very happy with.

“But I want more from them and I want more for them. We are working hard to improve the team and give more positive results for the fans.

“It’s important for the goals and from the first day we are losing a lot of chances with just our player against their goalkeeper.

“But in the end what is important is the balance, the confidence, the way we protect our goal and the points we have.

“We cannot cry about what happened in the past. We can just keep working to improve and when we have chances, especially just our players against the goalkeepers, to try to score.

“That’s what is so hard to work on because you need to pay attention to the little details.

“Every time the players go to training and relax that is when the problems are coming. Results are important but the way the team is working in training and in the games will give us this.”
