Kicking off a Rockin’ hols

After a two-year hiatus, Hard

Rock Hotel Tenerife has announced the return of two of its most iconic music events.

The Lagoon Party is back, kicking off the season with singer, songwriter and rapper Tinie Tempah who will be headlining the opening show on July 2.

Fans of what has been dubbed “the world’s best pool party” can expect beats, cocktails and good vibes around the glamorous lake pool with its daybeds, bars and DJ booths until nightfall.

Don your best swimsuit and coolest shades for this ode to electronic music, which will take place on the first weekend of every month. A list of artists will be revealed with the successive musical events until October 1.

Meanwhile, those with a passion for pop synth and legwarmers can relive the good old days at the much-loved Children of the 80’s parties, which are also making a comeback this summer.

Running from July 9 to December 3, music lovers are invited to take a trip back in time to revel in the frenetic atmosphere of the decade, with imaginativ­e staging, visual spectacles and an explosion of colour.

Neon Collective, a tribute to Depeche Mode, The Cure and U2 will be getting the party started at the opening event against a backdrop of neon lights and wow-factor retro looks.

Hotel guests can enjoy both parties for free. Regular shuttle bus services will run from Los Cristianos to both events and can be purchased for an extra ¤10 when buying tickets online.

route, is relaunchin­g. Walkers will be guided along the
