Paris in the swing

Tyson wife launches firm as he says: I quit

- EXCLUSIVE BY PATRICK HILL patrick.hill@mirror.co.uk

PARIS Fury has quit boxing hubby Tyson’s £40million firm to start her own business empire.

The mum of six formally registered her new venture last week to manage book deals and other merchandising.

A source said: “Paris is a successful businesswoman and starting her own firm is a reflection of that.

“She is already a successful author and TV personality and has a lot of projects, including another book, in the pipeline.”

Paris, 32, grew up in a family of traditional Irish travellers in Doncaster, South Yorks, and first met Gypsy King Tyson, 34, at a wedding when they were teenagers. The world heavyweight champ has repeatedly praised her for helping him become a massive star.

Her move comes as Tyson once again announced he was retiring – three days after challenging Derek Chisora to a third fight. He said on Friday: “I’ve finally decided to walk away and on my 34th birthday I say bon voyage.”

His wife quit as a director of Tyson Fury Ltd on August 4 and set up Paris Fury Ltd the same day. Filings at Companies House state it will deal in “online retail, book publishing, PR and communications, and advertising”.

Her debut book Love and Fury, revealing the highs and lows of her marriage, was a bestseller last year.

She has appeared as a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women, impressing viewers with her down-to-earth attitude.

And Paris has wowed boxing fans by appearing in the ring alongside Tyson after his victories and in their behind-thescenes reality show on ITV.

Our source added: “Her mix of brains, glamour and likeability are a massive hit with fans.”
