OUR DOSSIER OF SCANDALS

- By Dan Warburton

FROM cell raves to drug-dealing lags, the Sunday People has led the way in exposing the crisis in our prisons.

Last week we published footage showing killer David Ramshaw, 46, and his prison pals living it up.

Some inmates could be seen chopping lines of white powder at HMP Northumberland.

We also revealed how prisoners were flogging £10 supermarket mobile phones for more than £500 behind bars.

A watchdog report from inside Forest Bank jail near Manchester, revealed officers seized 254 phones, 109 SIM cards and 205 chargers, as well as cannabis, heroin and nearly 10lb of now banned legal highs.

Meanwhile in January we unveiled footage of a prisoner in agony after taking legal highs smuggled into HMP Onley in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Two weeks later we reported on a video made by two lags showing how drugs and violence had turned life at HMP Bullingdon in Oxfordshire into anarchy.

And in May, murderer John “Boy” Ward, serving a minimum 32 years for arranging the murder of his cousin in a gypsy blood feud, was filmed with his pal issuing the chilling threat: “When I get out you’re going to be terrorised.”

Meanwhile swaggering cocaine baron Babs Arogundade, 29, serving 27 years, was snapped wearing a £3,000 gold Rolex in jail.
