BIG Brother’s most notorious villain, “Nasty Nick” Bateman, is set to return as part of an all-star celebrity line-up.
The new series – to be screened in January – will mark the 20th appearance of the reality TV show.
Producers are bringing back a string of former favourites for the milestone – and will reunite several of the house’s most controversial stars.
Nick, 49, became a national hate figure when he appeared on the first ever series of the show in 2000.
He was the only contestant not to be nominated for eviction – after lying to housemates about losing his wife in a car crash while building a reputation for being “genuine”.
He was eventually booted out after five weeks thanks to his underhand tactics and rule- breaking. Despite a ban on discussing nominations, minations, he tried to encourage other contestants to change their votes. And a pen and paper – also against the rules – was later found in his bags. He had used them to pass notes. The antics earned him the nickname Nasty Nick – and when he left the Big Bro Brother hous house he even published a book call calledled How T To Be A Right B*****d. But the ex- financial broker later re reinventedeinvented h himself as a radio presenter, an and nd appear appeared as a villain in a string of p pantomimes.antomime The firs first series was eventually w wonon by L Liverpudlian handyman Cr Craig raig Phillip Phillips. A source o on the Channel 5 show said: “The line line-up for All Star Big Brother is al already looking great. “Obviously bosses hope Nick will return to his underhand tactics and cause controversy all over again. Even 16 years after the first series, fans of the show will remember his performance – he’s one of the all-time stars of the show.
“He’ll be in good company though, there are plenty of other villains being lined up to appear with him.”
The insider added: “Bringing back the celebs – like Perez Hilton or James Jordan – who they know will cause the drama could result in the most explosive series so far.
“Usually celebrity housemates brag about how controversial and confrontational they’ll be – while they’re being screened by producers before going in. But then nothing happens.
“This way there’ll be no dull moments as they know who will be worth their fee.”
