No Nic & tuck X Factor star on pal Louis’s boob job jibe
NICOLE Scherzinger has revealed she slapped Louis Walsh down for joking about her boobs being fake.
The singer said her fellow X Factor judge is a real rock on the set – but he can sometimes push his cheeky humour too far.
And Nicole, 38, who insists she has never had plastic surgery, was not impressed when he suggested she had been for a boob job.
She said: “I said to Louis I’m like a fine wine, I just get better with age. When the time comes, maybe I’ll experiment with Botox. I just want to look like JLo. I mean how old is Jennifer now? She’s the best she’s ever looked.
“Louis pushes his luck, but I can handle him. I’ve known all of them for a long time, so you can be cheeky and occasionally push it but we never take it personally.”
She added: “A lot of the time, Louis is the one to lift me up. Some days he gives me a pep talk. We’re real friends behind the scenes.” And Louis is one of the pals who helps her handle her homesickness for her native Hawaii.
Nicole said: “I get homesick. England keeps me busy and I love the amazing restaurants here but I really do miss the island.”
We spoke to Nicole at London’s Grosvenor House Apartments ahead of rehearsals, where she put her remaining acts, Matt Terry and Ryan Lawrie, through their paces.
She had flown in from an event in LA before racing to meetings, the studios and then a charity performance on Friday night – and she admits she struggles to switch off.
Nicole said: “One of my friends said I’m a bit of a masochist. I like keeping busy. I’m better when I’m being productive.” Fans will be pleased to hear Nicole could be tempted to return to X Factor next year. She said: “At the start of this year, I didn’t know what I’d be doing but you’ve got to be open in this business. Maybe I’d be open to coming back to X Factor.
“We’ll see how hard Simon tries to persuade me!”
