Don’t look bark in anger Noel returns dog after marital strife

SOME might say a dog is for life, not just Christmas – but Noel Gallagher isn’t one of them.

The rocker has just shown family mutt Thomas the door for ruining his love life.

The decision has not gone down well with their two young sons, but Noel is as delighted as his cat. “My wife was showing Thomas more affection than me,” said the star. “He didn’t go the distance I’m afraid.” Wife Sara talked him into adopting the Jack Russell Pinscher, a rescue dog, last December. But things soon got rough.

“Thomas was very mean to the cat who’s been around a long time. It just wasn’t fair, man,” said Noel, 49.

And the Oasis legend soon realised he was no longer top dog in the household.

“Once as I came in the front door I heard my missus saying ‘where have you been? SOCCER star Jamie Vardy gets a kick out of Christmas on a trip to a winter wonderland.

The Leicester and England striker headed for Lapland UK in Ascot, Berks, with pregnant wife Rebekah.

The couple have four kids between them and Sofia, two, and Megan 11, are seen enjoying the fun. The trip came after a spectacula­r 12 months You are all cold’. I thought that’s nice, as she’s never really like that ’cos she’s Scottish. Then I saw she was talking to the dog. I thought, ‘this isn’t going to work’.

“We’d have conversati­ons and she’d look like she was taking notice, then suddenly she’d go ‘Tommy’. And you’d be like, she’s not listening to a word I’m saying.

“So he’s gone to a better home – the kids are not best pleased though.” in which Foxes star Jamie won the Premier League, was listed eighth best player in the world in the Ballon d’Or rankings and was shortliste­d for the BBC Sports Personalit­y of the Year – at which Leicester won team of 2016.

And if it seems like all Jamie’s Christmase­s have come at once, you might just be right. Rebekah, 34, is expecting their second child, a boy, next month – when Jamie will be 30.
