NEIL’S LIONS ARE BUZZING
MILLWALL boss Neil Harris says there is no chance Watford will underestimate his side today.
The Lions mauled a muchchanged Bournemouth team 3-0 in their third-round tie last month.
The reward for the League One club is a televised home tie against the Hornets, who have also now established themselves in the Premier League and comfortably saw off Championship outfit Burton 2-0 in round three.
While Harris (below) feels the element of surprise is no longer on their side, Millwall will be out to pull off another giant-killing.
He said: “If there was any hint we caught Bournemouth cold last time by a very strong performance, that won’t have an impact this time against Watford, they won’t underestimate us.
“To be successful we will have to put in a strong performance against a big physical Watford side, but being a one-off cup game, the excitement is there as is another opportunity for us to cause an upset.”
Harris believes whatever side he puts out will not be overawed by the occasion.
He added: “I don’t think my players will be under pressure because I have told them to go out and enjoy themselves. Our focus is the league, first and foremost we are looking to Walsall next Wednesday evening.
“However, if Watford turn up and play to their best ability, then it will be a difficult afternoon for us – that happens against teams from a higher division.
“So it is a challenge for all of us, but it is the FA Cup, a one-off game, and that is the beauty of it.”
Lions forward Aiden O’Brien believes the players will relish another opportunity against topflight opposition. He said: “It is always good to be told to go out there and express yourself, but the manager says that for every game and not just the cup tie. “It is good to have a smile on your face when you are playing, and we did that against Bournemouth.
“We enjoyed what we did and worked together all over the park. If we can put that all into the Watford tie, then it will be a good game.
“We don’t lack confidence, no matter who we play, we believe we can beat any team.”
