JUBILANT Cheryl FernandezVersini last night announced the birth of her baby boy with boyfriend Liam Payne who proudly showed him off to the world.

The former X Factor judge and singer, 33, gave birth on Wednesday to the “beautiful, healthy” 7lb 9oz tot, who is yet to be named.

She said: “On Wednesday March 22, Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9oz and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. “We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world.” Proud Liam, 23, added: “My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless... wow! “I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far. “I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.”

Twice-divorced Cheryl went public with the pregnancy in a L’Oreal photoshoot in January.

She and 1D singer Liam met on X Factor in 2008 and started dating after she split with her second husband JeanBernard Fernandez-Versini in 2016.

Liam has paid tribute to his girlfriend by getting a tattoo of her eye on his arm.

Opening up about their relationship earlier this month, Liam said Cheryl had been his “dream girl” since he was a teenager.

Cheryl’s mum Joan was also on hand for the birth and has been a major support for the star. A source added: “Cheryl had her mum close by and she has been an amazing support.”
