SHAMED funnyman Justin Lee Collins hopes for a TV comeback with a new version of the smash 80s US cop show Miami Vice.

The chubby comedian, who shot to fame in 2005 hosting Channel 4’ s Bring Back, is keen to return to telly.

Collins, 42, had more success as the £500,000 co-presenter of C4’s Friday Night Project with Alan Carr.

But in 2012 he was found guilty of harassing Anna Larke, 43, after their seven-month romance broke down. Now Collins has moved to London and said: “I’ve got an idea to bring back Miami Vice so fingers crossed. I’ve got with a producer friend of mine so we shall see.”

He would also like to revive the 1985 pirate adventure The Goonies and Bring Back, where stars from shows such as Dallas and Star Wars were reunited.

Nonsense

Speaking at the premiere of crime thriller We Still Steal The Old Way, Collins, said: “I’m enjoying my quiet life. I’m just a working class lad who got really lucky. I don’t miss it, not at all. I liked my job but not all the nonsense nse that came with it.”

Last month Anna, who has post- traumatic stress disorder, er, told the Sunday People Collins ins never personally apologised for putting her through hell and shehe still has nightmares.

The court heard how the star ar waged a “campaign of abuse”e” against his lover.
