NAUGHTY Princ Prince George had a day to forget y yesterday when Auntie Pippa got married. The three-year-old pageboy burst into tears after mum KateKa scolded him for throwing a tantrum. And the Duchess o of Cambridge clearly had her hands full w when another little guest appeared to giv give snappers a V-sign. Pippa Middleton’s big day had started so well with George an and two-year-old sister Charlotte looking adorableado s they dutifully carried out their ro roles as pageboy and bridesmaid. Kate did her best to get her children and the other page pageboys and maids to behave in her role as matron of honour, demanding silence b before the ceremony. George – dressed i in gold pantaloons by Spanish clothing co company Pepa & Co – looked tearful as he was on the receiving end of a ticking off during a rare public tant tantrum. But the third-in-linethird to the throne was not the wo worst behaved. One little pageboyp flicked the V-sign at wai waiting photographers while Kate be behind him seemed to be unaware o of the mischief. Luckily o one of his fellow pageboys keptk an eye on the cheeky child child, holding his hand to prevent any further mischief.

An onlookeronloo said: “Every parent can r relate to that.

“You try everything to make sure your ki kids are well-behaved but sometime sometimes there’s nothing you can do.

“It’s fair to say that photo won’t be making the wedding album.

“It just goes to show you can be surrounded by ro royals and still can’t predict what kids m might do.” The niece and nephewneph of the bride were met by coos from the crowd as they were driven in a vintage ca car with their mum to the church in the vi village of Englefield, Berkshire.

For the little girls, bride Pippa, 33, had chosen cream- coloured dresses with puffed sleeves and a blush-coloured sash around the waist complete with a floral crown.

For the boys, she optedd for golden pantaloons and a double-breastedeasted cream shirt with a Peter Pan collar ar and white stockings.

The bride decided to have only children in her bridal party as many of her friends are married anyway.

Pippa herself looked stunningnning in a high- necked white bridal gown designed by Giles Deacon and a classic bridal veil as she was married to multi-millionairere fiance James Matthews, 41.

Aside from Charlotte andd George, Pippa had a further three pageboys, Casimir Tatos, Edward Sebire and William Ward and three more maids Countess Phillipa Hoyos, Lily French and Avia Horner.

Prince Harry, 32, joined brother William, 34, in church but there was no sign of Harry’s latest squeeze, Meghan Markle.

Prevent

The American actress, 35, is believed to have joined him at the reception last night.

Four ex-SAS soldiers were drafted in as part of a major security operation.

Private security teams checked hedgerows for hidden cameras around the Middletons’ £ 4.7million mansion at Bucklebury and at St Mark’s Church in nearby Englefield. Spotlights were erected around a £100,000 glass marquee in the grounds of Middleton Manor to prevent photographers from taking pictures.

And residents in Englefield were told to wear gold wristbands to show they live there and put permits on their cars.

Guards blocked fans and the press from getting within 400 yards of the church.

Security was so tight that officials refused to tell guests details of the evening reception – not even food or entertainment arrangements.

They were told to send a passport photo and create a password so they could get accreditation before being ferried to

Middleton Mansion in a fleet of Land nd Rover Discovery 4x4s.

One guest, a friend of groom James es Matthews, said: “We know nothing.g. We’ve seen the glass marquee in the he papers and it looks beautiful.

“I know they’re making a lot of effort rt because there are big expectations. I think they’ll be surprised when I tell them of about my dietary requirements.”

Reality TV’s Made In Chelsea star ar Spencer Matthews enjoyed a wine ne tasting in a plush hotel near the venue ue 24 hours before the wedding.

Brilliant

But he avoided a late-night session and went to bed at 11pm.

After the wedding the bride and groom headed to the reception in an E-Type Jaguar while Pippa and Kate’s brother James, 30, drove a vintage Land Rover.

Pippa’s uncle Gary Goldsmith tweeted: “Brilliant couple who gave everyone time and attention.”

Local resident Elaine Whorriskey, 44, who waited with her daughter Ella Baker, 14, for 90 minutes to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom, said: “They stopped briefly in their car for us to see them, beeped the horn and waved.

“Pippa looked stunning. I felt really emotional. It’s been an amazing day.”
