TV host Ferne McCann – who is carrying a suspected acid attacker’s baby – falls for the wrong type of men, says a pal.
One of Ferne’s co-stars from reality TV’s The Only Way Is Essex has spoken out to support the stressed mum to be.
This Morning presenter Ferne, 26, dumped Arthur Collins when he was named as a suspect in a horrific nightclub acid attack.
She broke down in tears on the ITV show as she talked about her pregnancy.
This week former Towie star Vas J Morgan, 28, said Ferne is feeling the strain.
He said: “I feel really sorry for her. I love Ferne and, what happened to her, it’s not her fault, it’s her choice of men, but she is feeling the brunt of it. I think girls like a bad boy but more so in Essex.”
Speaking in Cannes in the South of France, at a gala for Aids charity amfAR, Vas added: “I sent her a message. I’m here for her and congrats on the baby.”
Ferne, who finished third in 2015’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, opened her heart on This Morning earlier this month.
She said: “It’s not going to be easy but I’m going to be the best possible mum I can be. It has been such a stressful, surreal situation tuation to be in that I’m actually feeling ing good and positive because I’m pregnant.regnant. That’s given me strength and hope to get through this.
“This isn’t how I imagined my first pregnancy to be but it’s not about me, it’s about this baby. My main concern and priority is the baby.”
Ferne thankednked viewers for their support and said: aid: “Reading through my private messagesges has been so touching, so humbling. mbling. From single mums and nd dads to people who have never seen me on TV, everyone has been amazing.”
