are also bringing down prices. West Yorkshire club Huddersfield have sliced a whacking £ 101 off last season’s £400 ticket price.

All the other Premier League clubs have frozen their prices.

Protests

Football supporters hailed this as a major victory for fan power after years of steadily increasing prices.

It comes after furious fans at clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool staged a series of stadium protests and walkouts over rocketing tickets last year. Our findings also come after we revealed 11 Premier League clubs hiked the cost of buying a beer in their stadiums last season, with Man Utd fans buying bottles that equated to £6.50 a pint.

We also found fans were even paying 14 per cent more for their traditional meat pies.

Man City, Spurs and Crystal Palace topped the pie league, charging £4 for the popular snack.

The Football Supporters Federation said: “It’s good to see some clubs reducing season ticket prices and we hope others follow in the future. e.

“Fans are e the future of football and cannott be priced out if the game wantss to continue to grow.

“For yearsrs the general trend on season ticketsets and replica kits has been upwardsds but finally they are on a plateau. u.

“We hopee they will come down in the e future. There is also room for improvement on the price ce of refreshments at football grounds.”ounds ”
