Suspected cannabis farm at killer’s flat Mum and daughter in bitter r ow over home

- By Karen Rockett by Phil Cardy

TOWIE favourite Gemma Collins puts any worries about price behind her as she takes a stroll in a fetching red outfit.

Perhaps the 36-year-old deliberately left the label in as she hopes to take it back. But as it was from her own new shop in Brentwood, Essex, there should be no problems.

At one point the reality star seemed distracted after getting cosy with Dave “Chatty” Chatwood, the stepdad of fellow Towie stars Sam and Billie Faiers. But Gemma’s pals insist the pair are just good friends.

Chatwood was jailed for four years in 2012 for his part in a £1.1million bullion robbery in Belgium.

Maybe he could use his light fingers to cut the price tag out of Gemma’s top. COPS have found a suspected cannabis farm at the flat of a woman who killed her love rival with a shotgun.

Officers discovered drugs and growing equipment at the Liverpool property after a tip-off from neighbours.

They became suspicious after seeing lights flick on and off during the night.

The flat was bought with money from former Army sharpshooter Rena Salmon, who was jailed for life at the Old Bailey in 2003 for murdering her husband’s pregnant lover Lorna Stewart, 36.

In September 2002 she walked into a beauty salon in Chiswick, West London, and blasted her victim. She then sent husband Paul a text message saying: “I’ve just shot Lorna. This isn’t a joke.”

Salmon, 56, served 14 years and moved into the flat with daughter Jasmin when she was released.

Since then the pair have become locked in a bitter row over who owns the top-floor flat.

Loan

It is understood body-piercer Jasmin, 24, was on holiday in Greece with her boyfriend when Monday’s search took place. Cops are likely to i nterview t hem when they return to the UK.

Jasmin claims her mum loaned her £65,000 to buy and renovate the flat. But Salmon later instructed solicitors to ask the courts to declare the property, now worth up to £88,000, was hers.

Jasmin took out a harassment order against her mum ordering her to keep away from her, even though they still live on the same street.

Earlier this year Jasmin said: “I stood by her for 14 years. Now she’s got a solicitor threatening to take my home. I can’t believe she’s doing this.”

Salmon’s solicitor sent Jasmin a letter claiming it was agreed “the property would be purchased in your name and that upon her release you would transfer the title into her name”.

Jasmin disputed this saying the agreement was for her to pay her mum £300-a-month rent as repayment for the loan.

She said: “I just want to sell the place, give her the money back.

“I want to go away and travel, get some distance between us.”
