YOU could win a fabulous free getaway just by voting in this year’s holiday Oscars.

For the fifth year running the Sunday People is a partner of the influential British Travel Awards – the annual gongs for the firms who make your time off extra special.

The public vote for the 2017 awards, open until September 30, is where you say who is the best of the best in the UK travel industry.

These are its most cherished accolades because they are voted for by you – the people who spend hard-earned money on the holidays and services they provide.

The categories include airlines, hotels, overseas tour operators, cruise lines, staycation attraction and accommodation specialists.

There are also gongs for those vital add-ons such as travel insurance, currency exchange, price comparison websites and airport parking.

Everyone who submits a vote in the BTAs is entered into a bumper draw for an Aladdin’s cave of travel treats – here’s a taste of what’s on offer already, with more being added every week.

The 2016 awards had 1,332,516 votes nationwide, making it the largest consumer-voted awards programme in the UK. The winners of the 73 holiday Oscars will be announced at a glittering gala evening in London in November.
