DADDY’S GIRL Jacko daughter on trip to Africa

- By Nicola Small

HERE is Michael Jackson’s bighearted daughter Paris following in her superstar dad’s footsteps.

The King of Pop’s beaming 19-year-old has posted a string of joyful photos online of her meeting deprived children in Africa.

In one photo on Twitter the broadly smiling model is hugged and surrounded by a group of kids – mirroring a picture of her dad in South Africa in 1977.

The picture is touchingly captioned: “One of the greatest days of my life”.

In another shot a tot tenderly clutches one of Paris’s fingers. Jacko’s girl travelled to Malawi and South Africa. She is thought to be on a tour with the Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation – a charity founded by the late Hollywood screen goddess to care for people with HIV and Aids.

The cause was also backed by Jacko, who died aged 50 in June 2009.

The Thriller singer first visited Africa when he was 14 and made several subsequent trips there.

In 1999 he was presented with a lifetime achievement award by Nelson Mandela at the Kora All Africa Music Awards.

Paris, who was 11 when her dad died, clearly takes inspiration from him.

She has said: “He tried to do everything with as much love and kindness as possible. He has always been my world... my roots.”

Her elder brother Prince, 20, runs a production company and works with a group to help the homeless and victims of child abuse. Her other brother Blanket, 15, has changed his name to Bigi.
