star- studded multi- million pound clubs are already topping the table – for lager prices.

United’s Old Trafford d is home to the Premierer League’s dearest pint. A 400ml bottle is £ 4.40, , equal to £6.25 a pint. City y will confirm Etihad stadium food and drink prices next week but will be second even if beer is frozen at £5 a pint.

The biggest rise will bee for fans of Spurs, whose temporarym­porary move to Wembley has put 65p on a pint, from £4.30 to £4.95. Leicester has hiked prices from £4 to £4.50. But £4.20 for a pint at Sou Southampto­n is a better deal than lastla season when it was £4 ffor for a smaller bottle. Eleven of the 20 clubs h have confirmed rises. Chelsea fans will pay t the most for a pie – £4.80 – the same as last year. T They are £2.50 up to 30 m minutes after the Stamford Br Bridge gates open and £3.99 if o ordered online through the Chelsea Ex Express App. Spurs fans will have to pay £4.30 and Prem newcomers Brighton are next priciest with pies at £ 4.20. But the Seagulls’ snacks, made by a family business using local ingredient­s, have won awards.

In all, half the Prem’s 20 clubs have pushed up food prices this season.

But sides do offer meal deals for a pie and pint. At Brighton it is £8, £7.70 at Leicester’s King Power stadium and £6.90 at West Brom.

Five clubs – Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Stoke City, Burnley and Bournemout­h – have frozen the prices of both lager and pies this season.
