THE party girl who spent a wild night with drink-drive footballer Wayne Rooney told last night how she has no regrets.

Laura Simpson, pictured exclusively by the Sunday People just an hour before her hook-up with the soccer superstar, says she was gutted when their night was cut short by police.

Property developer Laura, 29, told pals how the England legend “hit on her big- time” and she didn’t think about his pregnant wife Coleen.

Our source revealed: “She’s a party girl, a single girl, and wants to have fun.

“She wasn’t thinking about Rooney’s wife at all, why would she? She wasn’t going to say no, she was caught up in the drunken moment and quite fancied him.

“Coleen knows what her husband’s like. Laura didn’t lead him on, he hit on her big time and made all the moves.”

Defiant Laura told pals her only regret after being stopped in her car by police at 2am was they didn’t spend the night together.

A friend said: “Perhaps it’s a good thing he was arrested or who knows what would have happened?”

Laura’s unrepentant remarks come as new details emerge about their night together which has left Wayne, 31, battling to save his marriage.

Confess

In an ominous sign for the Everton ace, long-suffering Coleen, 31, spent yesterday at her parent’s house in Formby, Merseyside, 50 miles away from her marital home in Prestbury, Cheshire.

The mum of three left the luxury mansion shortly before noon with her mum Colette and her Range Rover Overfinch was later spotted at her parents’ house. There was no sign of Wayne. Party girl Laura’s sister told the Sunday People about the moment her sibling contacted her at 2.30am to drunkenly confess: “Wayne Rooney’s just been arrested in my car.”

She said Laura now plans to sell her VW Beetle car which Rooney was driving in the early hours of Friday morning.

It is in such poor repair that when Wayne and Laura were pulled over by cops they were unable to wind down a faulty window.

A pal said: “Laura wants rid of the car as it will forever be associated to the night she spent with Wayne.”

Laura first saw the former Manchester United star at the swanky Bubble Room bar in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, on Thursday night.

Scouser Rooney was on a night out with pals including his former United team-mate Wes Brown and Burnley player Phil Bardsley’s young brother.

Our exclusive picture shows her smiling at 9pm alongside a friend.

It was taken around an hour before Rooney spotted her.

The footballer was immediately taken with Laura, who was wearing a clinging white top, black leather trousers and designer blackand- red heels. A pal of Rooney approached Laura and said: “Wayne likes the look of you”.

The pair then got talking with Rooney reporte reportedly complimenting Laura on her boobs before they moved on to Symposium, a nightclub in nearby Wilmslow. At around 2am Wayne and Laura took a taxi a short distance to retrieve Laura’s black convertible VW Beetle parked outside a friend’s house. Rooney drove but minutes later the player was pulled over and arrested on suspic suspicion of drink driving. Laura, spea speaking about how they met, said: “Ther “There was a big group and the drinks we were flowing. “I endeden up talking to Wayne about this and that and we were hav having a right laugh. “He kept admiring my boobs, saying ‘I’d like to get my hands on them’. “I’m a single girl and I’m a allowed to have some fun.” When the bar was closing, on one of Wayne’s pals came up to Laura a and said: “Wayne likes the look of you and wants to go somewhere with you.” Laura says: “I said, ‘Yeah, OK’. I was told to meet him outside in a waiting taxi which had been called.

“We arranged for the taxi to drop us at my friend’s house where I had left my car earlier.

Late

“It was a five-minute ride and Wayne paid. We didn’t go into the house but decided to drive off into the night.

“We had no idea where we were going.”

The single mum’s sister Eden, who lives in the same street in Cadishead, Manchester, was asleep when her sister began frantically messaging her at 2.30am.

Initially, Eden thought it was a joke. She said: “I got the messages at half two saying, ‘Wayne Rooney’s just been arrested in my car’. My mum was kicking off.

“We thought Laura was lying until we saw he was arrested in a VW Beetle that’s 10 years old.”

Eden revealed that Laura’s car is so
