LOUISE Redknapp has told pals she plans to divorce estranged hubby Jamie by Christmas.

The singer, 42, left their home in July after 19 years of marriage following claims she had “newfound independence” after her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

A source said: “Louise wants to put steps in place t o end her marriage to Jamie by the end of year.

“They are no closer to getting back together since when they first split in July.

“Louise now wants to agree a timetable with Jamie to bring the marriage to an end.”

The development comes after Jamie, 44, partied with blonde model Molly Ann Abbott as he stepped out at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards on Tuesday night.

And his pal Jay Rutland, who was also at the bash at the Tate Modern in London, told how the footie star turned pundit “is up for grabs” following their split. Last week, Louise was pictured still wearing her wedding ring – as was Jamie at the GQ Awards.

But a source said: “Louise has had a lot of time to think about their future and she wants to move on with her life, especially when there are rumours about Jamie meeting other women.

“She is sick and tired of all the speculation.” Jamie and Louise married in Bermud Bermuda in June 1998 and have sons Charley, 13, and Beau, eig eight. The former Eternal s i nger r e portedly c confirmed that things were over to pals earlier in the summer.

They had always p prized themselves on be being a normal couple an and, until recently, had steere steered relatively clear of the showbiz scene.

Louise previously said of their marriage: “We go through all the things that people go through in life.

“We scream at each other sometimes, we have days when we can’t cope with the kids.”

She is currently starring in West End musical Cabaret and has been in the studio recording new music.
