Star Jen: I ’ve lost 3st but I ’m happy whatever my weight Fat’s no problem

JENNIFER Ellison is happy to accept congratula­tions on losing three stone but the truth is – she never minded having a much rounder figure.

The 5ft 5ins former Brookside star has astonished fans by dropping from a hefty 14st 2lb to 10st 7lb.

Yet she says she was never miserable at her old weight.

“I’d had three babies. I am happily married and content and the weight creeps on,” says Jennifer, 34.“I’m not embarrasse­d. When you sell pictures of yourself, people are going to be interested when you don’t look great. I’ve never got upset over it.

underneath my chin.” Jennifer says she has “no regrets” about posing for raunchy photo shoots for lads mags in the past.

“Every decision I’ve made has led me to where I am today,” she says. “Those shoots bought me a lovely home and the best quality of life. I’ve got the most amazing husband, the most beautiful kids.”

Jennifer wed boxer Robbie Tickle, 37, in 2009. They have sons Bobby, seven, Harry, f our, and Charlie, two.

The star, who pl a y e d Emily Shadwick in Brookside, still loves acting. She appeared as Meg Giry in the 2004 film adaptation of The Phantom Of The Opera and appeared on stage in Chicago,, Boeing Boeing and Singin’ In The Rain. Her next role is as Captain Hook in panto Peter Pan at the Blackpool Opera House from December 16 until January 7.

“I lovedd being in The Phantom,” she says. “It was on Sky the other week and my boyss were like ‘wow mummy,my, that’s you’. That’s something we’re going to have ve forever.”
