Money men circle on Alli
DELE ALLI is being promised a lucrative move to Manchester United or Real Madrid by agents vying for his signature.
The Tottenham midfielder is being courted by a number of the world’s top agencies following his decision to part with long-time representatives Impact Sports Management.
Among them are Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola, who looks after United’s Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Alli has been told by several agents that they are the only ones who can make moves to United or Real happen if or when he decides to leave Tottenham.
Spurs are adamant Alli is not for sale and, on the contrary, they are at the very early stages of talks over a new deal.
Alli is understood to earn a basic salary of between £50,000 and £60,000 a week but is discussing a rise that would bring him in line with the club’s other top earners such as Harry Kane on around £100,000 a week. AFC Wimbledon could face disciplinary action for failing to recognise bitter rivals MK Dons by their full name for the second successive season. Friday night’s programme for the Kingsmeadow clash did not reference the visitors either on the cover or inside, while the club’s official Twitter feed referred to Robbie Neilson’s team as Milton Keynes throughout. The EFL had asked Wimbledon for no repeat of similar omissions last season, but it appears their request was ignored.
