Boo don’t scare me

SHARON Osbourne has told critics of her performance as an X Factor judge to “get the f*** out of my face”.

The 65-year-old was questioned about her decision-making during the six-chair challenge, with unimpressed audience members booing her choices.

But she brushed it off by saying: “I don’t listen to the criticism. I’m like, when you earn your living in this industry, and have done for 50 years, give me a call?

“Otherwise, get the f*** out of my face. As they say, stay in your lane, b****!’”

Sharon led the Girls category during the first X Factor live show this weekend.

Mentoring Grace Davies, Holly Tandy and Rai-Elle Williams, she is telling her acts to follow her lead and brush off any criticism. She said: “I tell them all not to look at social media.

“People think it’s a good indication of what is out there, but it isn’t. You get a few nutters out there. One half tell you you’re fabulous and the other hate you. It’s not a good indicator.” As X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing battle for ratings, Sharon insists she has never been tempted to have a foxtrot herself, saying she could not face sweating on live TV.

“I don’t like to perspire and you sweat doing that,” she laughed. “I can’t be doing with all that. My armpits would be all moist. I couldn’t take it! All that throwing you around every night. I’m not bothered about the hunky men, I’d be going ‘Does my breath stink? Do my armpits? I would die doing it!”

Buddies

Sharon has already signed up for next year’s X Factor and said it was an easy decision. “I love the show so I wanted to stay. The industry is all I know. I’m a sad old fart! I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.” And she’s hoping Nicole Scherzinger, the only judge not to sign a new contract, could be temp tempted to stay on. “I would lo love to see Nicole stay because she’s my friend. You want y your buddies with you, d don’t you?” Asked Ask if she wan wanted C Cheryl Tweedy to replace Nicole, Sharon added: “It’s not I don’t want to work with Cheryl, she’s great. But Nicole and I have been friends a long time. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.”

During last year’s series Sharon’s marriage to rocker Ozzy was shaken after it emerged that he had been having an affair. Ozzy, 68, later revealed he was tackling a sex addiction and had the full support of his wife.

Concerns were raised over Sharon’s wellbeing during the difficult time as she flew between the UK and LA to salvage her relationship.

Now, the pair are back on firm ground and Ozzy is in London to enjoy the live shows.

Sharon says she is in a good place, adding: “I don’t find X Factor taxing at all. This time Ozzy is with me.

“I’m glad he’s here to see the new studio. He thinks my girls are amazing. Every day he goes to me, ‘I don’t know how they do it. They’re so young and brave’.”
