On your bike, big Fella...

- By Neil Moxley

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has been told to sell before he can buy – and Marouane Fellaini will be first out of the exit door in January.

Mourinho (below) needs to offload before he can reshape his Old Trafford squad and the big Belgian will be on his way in seven weeks’ time.

Sunday People Sport can reveal a deal has been agreed for him to join Besiktas in Turkey for £8million as he is out of contract next June.

And he is unlikely to be the last to leave as Mourinho wheels and deals in a bid to keep United in the Premier League title race.

The Portuguese went out of his way to praise the versa versatile Fellaini aft after last week’s defeat by Chelsea.

But that a appears to be ap a public relatio relations exercise ahead of his departure.

One potential recruit is Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred, whose name has been circulated ahead of the window opening.

The dynamic midfielder has been a standout performer for the Ukrainian giants.

He was handed a new long-term deal last summer – but now a number of Europe’s top clubs are taking a keen interest in the Brazil international.

Fred’s camp had been looking to take him to Spain with Sevilla and Valencia showing an interest.

But the prospect of moving to the Premier League is likely to turn his head.

Mourinho attended Friday’s World Cup playoff first leg between Sweden and Italy in Stockholm, primarily to see Victor Lindelof.

The defender has been exposed during an inconsistent start to life at Old Trafford and the clash, which the Swedes won 1-0, was studied by Mourinho alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
