BILLY FROST: “Jack” was the Krays’ driver and often hid weapons for them. He vanished during their murder trial in 1969 amid rumours they killed him as he knew too much. But Frost died in 2016 aged 84. EDDIE RICHARDSON & FRANKIE FRASER: The Torture Gang boss and his henchman Mad Frankie, right, meet for final time in 2012. Fraser died in 2014 aged 90. Eddie, 81, now paints and gives after-dinner speeches. CHARLIE RICHARDSON: One of Britain’s most terrifying gangsters in the 1960s. Known for pulling teeth out, chopping off toes with bolt cutters and nailing victims to the floor. Died in 2012 aged 78. VIC DARK: Pictured in bling and shades, the former armed robber and Krays’ debt collector once took a whole nightclub hostage at gunpoint in Ilford, Essex, then kidnapped a policeman. Now going straight, writing books and raising charity money. ROY SHAW: Kray pal who began unlicensed boxing aged 42 after doing 18 years for armed robbery – including time in Broadmoor. He had three fights with fellow gangster Lenny The Guv’nor McLean. Earned millions from land deals and died in 2012. SNAZZY suits, smoky dens, craggy-faced geezers sporting gold rings... and an elderly but menacing bare-chested boxer.

And he admits he found him some tricky situations.
