IT won’t be only children eager to tear open presents under the tree this Christmas.
Our furry friends will also get stuck in too – because more than one in three owners will spend at least £14 on gifts and costumes for their pets.
A third of them reckoned their animals are easier to buy for than family and friends, according to research by American Express.
