Bruce is after a Fox in the box

- By Neil Moxley

STEVE BRUCE wants LEICESTER CITY’S Leonardo Ulloa on loan.

The ASTON VILLA boss is in the market for a target man and has the Argentinian in his sights.

The Villa chief will also consider a move for BURNLEY’S Jon Walters as an alternative if Ulloa cannot be persuaded to move across the Midlands.

Ulloa only agreed a new contract with the Foxes last summer but has so far struggled to break into the first-team.

However, Bruce has been told there are only limited funds to work with and will have to see if he can persuade the club to back him.

Villa’s chief has been relying on Keinan Davis up front, but the young striker has found goals difficult to come by.

Bruce wants a physical presence in attack and can offer Ulloa a route back into first-team action. MANCHESTER UNITED have made an enquiry about RB SALZBURG kid Ulrick Ella. The 16-year-old striker, born in France of Gabonese descent, is hot property in Germany and United are considering adding him to their academy. TOTTENHAM have been told to cough up £20million if they want FULHAM’S Ryan Sessegnon as a replacement for Danny Rose.

England left-back Rose is expected to quit north London for Old Trafford next month in a £50m deal.

And teen ace Sessegnon is the man wanted to fill the gap – although there will be stiff negotiating to be done as the club also want his twin-brother Steven included in the deal.

Spurs are in pole position for Sessegnon, having been tracking the 17-year-old for more than two years, and are keen on Steven too – but Fulham want £10m for him.
