Kop boss Klopp’s pledge to Liverpool fans
JURGEN KLOPP claims Liverpool will never sell a top player in winter to a Premier League rival.
And the Kop boss insists as far as his current squad is concerned, none of them would WANT to leave Anfield halfway through a season anyway.
With Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez on his way to Manchester United, the e German was asked if he would have contemplated selling Philippe Coutinho (right) – who left for Barcelona earlier this s month in a £ 145million ion deal – to an English rival.
Klopp said: “No Liverpool player of this squad would leave to any other Premier League club during the season. season I go there or there’. I really can not see that situation.
“My point of view is nothing about Alexis Sanchez and stuff like that. It is no criticism of Alexis.
“He is a fantastic player and obviously he wants to leave since last summer. Then it didn’t happen. Now it is more likely.
“With Sanchez it is more like it was with Phil and us – not like it is now with players from this squad who w want to leave for another club club, a top-six club. I can’t see

Although Klopp would have l i ked Sanchez, ultimately Liverpool could not meet his mega wage demands.
And the Anfield chief insists the Coutinho cash is not burning a hole in his pocket. He said: “If something right would be there in the window for us to do, then nobody here would not do it. We’d say, ‘OK, let’s go for it’.
“But it is not about doing something to cool the situation down or show the people we don’t sleep.
“It is only about right or wrong and at this moment in this situation it is right.”
