PAEDO’S EX HANG HOPE

- By Tom Hendry

THE ex- husband of nursery paedophile Vanessa George says he would be thrilled if she kills herself.

Andrew George, 50, spoke of his disgust for her after the Sunday People published her whingeing letters as she pushes for a move to a cushier jail.

Andrew said: “The hatred has intensified.” He added he would “jump for joy” if she hangs herself.

He said his happiness was wrecked after the monster, with whom he has two children, was arrested in 2009.

Andrew, who ended the marriage after her crimes were revealed, said: “She’s the wicked one but it’s me who still gets the funny looks in the street.

“I can’t seem to stop plummeting into despair. I am struggling to stay afloat.”

Jobless Andrew, who still lives in the old family home in Plymouth, said: “If I don’t get out of this house, which holds so many terrible memories, I don’t think life will be worth living.” Mum-of-two George, 47, was given a minimum of seven years’ jail in 2009 for photographing herself abusing toddlers in her care at the nursery in Plymouth and sending the images to a fellow pervert, Colin Blanchard.

She wrote to a penpal: “How did I get into this mess? Basically I fell ‘head over heels’ with a co-defendant and he said, ‘Jump’, and I said, ‘How high.’” George’s first attempt at parole was rejected.
