GARETH SOUTHGATE is ready to rub shoulders with Hollywood celebrities at the NFL Super Bowl in Minneapolis.

The England boss is to take in the 52nd Super Bowl between Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots as part of a Leaders in Sport summit.

The Three Lions chief will meet top sports coaches from across the globe – and get to see Justin Timberlake and Pink perform live on stage at next weekend’s NFL showpiece.

The guest list for the leaders event is still unclear but Southgate is known to be keen to broaden his knowledge of best practice in elite sport.

Programme

The 47-year-old, who takes England to the World Cup in Russia this summer, has already joined a UK Sport programme for world-class coaches.

While still caretaker boss following Sam Allardyce’s departure, Southgate attended a course headed by Mel Marshall, coach to Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty, British Cycling coach Paul Manning and Steve Borthwick from England Rugby.

Southgate has also shared ideas with England’s Australian head rugby coach Eddie Jones.

Yesterday, Southgate crammed in two FA Cup fourth-round matches in the North West.

He was at Liverpool against West Brom last night after watching West Ham at Wigan.
