- By Grace Macaskill

A CANCER quack in a relationship with a dead patient’s husband is to be investigated after the Sunday People exposed her bizarre methods.

Amanda Mary Jewell has no formal medical training – yet injects patients with dangerous, banned substances like experimental stem cells, fetal lamb cells and illegal blood products.

This week she even blamed her new boyfriend’s wife for causing the cancer that killed her – by eating

Jewell, 49, is now being inves- tigated by the Director of Health Services in n Belize for running her £145-a-day a-day clinic there with no licence. ence.

A spokesman said: “Our records show ow there is no clinic ic registered under r this w woman’s name. It would seem these services a are being run from the h house where she live lives. We are conducting an investigation an and this may be a po police matter.” Last week we told how the quack is in a relationship with Martin Buckwell, whose wife Aliki, 42, died a year ago.

Jewell this week claimed her methods – including pulling out two teeth – shrank Aliki’s two brain tumours by 70 per cent. She said: “Aliki loved her sweets. It was a very aggressive tumour, we got a grip of it but unfortunately the sugar fed it again.

“It’s very difficult for me because Aliki was a good friend and I’m now girlfriend to her husband. We just lost her and it will always be very sad.

“Aliki had quality of life and lived an additional year.” FOOTBALL superstar Jamie Vardy looks for a home and away win as he browses properties in the window of a London estate agent with his wife.

The England striker and Rebekah, 36, star of I’m A Celebrity, checked out properties that included a twobedroom flat priced at £6.9million in plush Mayfair.

Vardy, 31, broke a record with goals in 11 consecutive matches in Leicester City’s remarkable run to the 2016 Premier League title. Now buying a Mayfair pad could fuel speculation he will sign for a top London club.

Vardy, who pockets around £100,000 a week, put his £1.25million mansion in Melton Mowbray, Leics, on the market last summer.
