3 SOUGHT OVER MIGZ

POLICE probing the fatal shooting of a British rapper want to speak to three potential witnesses.

Five people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Miguel Reynolds, known as Migz, on June 7. He was gunned down in Netherton, Merseyside, and later died in hospital.

Police believe the killing may be linked to an earlier shooting, less than half a mile away.

Officers continue to execute warrants and carry out searches in the area.

Det Chief Insp Ian Warlow, of Merseyside Police, said: “While we are keeping an open mind as to the motive for this murder, we are pursuing a number of positive lines of inquiry.

“We do need informatio­n from the community.

“We are particular­ly keen to trace three people who we believe may have informatio­n that could assist our investigat­ion.” He said they were in the area of an earlier non-injury shooting may have seen some or all of those involved.

He called the killing a shocking crime in a residentia­l area on a light evening and said those responsibl­e must be brought to justice.
