3 SOUGHT OVER MIGZ
POLICE probing the fatal shooting of a British rapper want to speak to three potential witnesses.
Five people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Miguel Reynolds, known as Migz, on June 7. He was gunned down in Netherton, Merseyside, and later died in hospital.
Police believe the killing may be linked to an earlier shooting, less than half a mile away.
Officers continue to execute warrants and carry out searches in the area.
Det Chief Insp Ian Warlow, of Merseyside Police, said: “While we are keeping an open mind as to the motive for this murder, we are pursuing a number of positive lines of inquiry.
“We do need information from the community.
“We are particularly keen to trace three people who we believe may have information that could assist our investigation.” He said they were in the area of an earlier non-injury shooting may have seen some or all of those involved.
He called the killing a shocking crime in a residential area on a light evening and said those responsible must be brought to justice.
