JJ: I’m out to make Haye

OLYMPIC silver medallist Joe Joyce hopes David Haye will focus his efforts on making him a world champion now he has given up his own dream of returning to the top.

Former WBA heavyweigh­t champ Haye announced his decision to retire for a second time on Tuesday following his defeat by Tony Bellew last month. But he still plans to be a big name in boxing with his promotiona­l and management company.

And Commonweal­th heavyweigh­t champion Joyce (right) has promised to dedicate his world title to the man he hopes will have guided him there.
